Why Start This Blog?

Honestly, I have been wanting to write something regularly and diligently since FOREVER! However, we all keep making excuses to ourselves to delay or refrain from doing something in the interest of time. At least I did. And since the lock-down period started courtesy of Covid-19, I took it upon myself to make time to do what makes me happy and try and reach out with whatever little insight I may have on things which may bind you and me together.

What's the best way to bond than find a shared interest, a hobby, maybe a career, or even better, the journey towards our careers. Life is all about sharing and caring, right? What better than to have a forum to share our opinions, exchange ideas and discuss our journeys? I am certain we each have so many learnings and experiences along this voyage.

So without undue delay, I welcome all of you to my blog - dear friends, family, acquaintances & strangers (hopefully soon to become friends). It has always been one of my passions to reach out to people via the medium of writing, since I feel that is one of the most powerful medium of making ourselves heard. After all, we all know that, "The pen is mightier than the sword".

That being said, I will be using this forum to write about my journey of being a first generation lawyer, first 2 years in the legal fraternity, the journey before and during my 5 years of law school, and everything else that comes to my mind :P

I will speak of the (limited) ways that I know of getting a good internship, ways of scoring good grades (I did pass with a first division with distinction :D), smart ways of studying and ways to build yourself overall (happy to help with CV building, interview preparations as well).

In conclusion, I know it may seem hard if you are entering into this field without much family background, but trust me, it is the most brilliant field to pursue and you will fall in love with it, and that is all you really need to make your mark. Just remember - it's about taking one step at a time, one day at a time, one goal each day - it will all lead to your dreams, the ultimate milestone.
